Popular iPhone and iPod accessories maker, Griffin Technology, is out with a new in-ear Bluetooth headset called SmartTalk.

Thanks to the STEP Labs’ STEPvoice acoustic voice separation technology as well as two microphones used, SmartTalk eliminates background noise, reduces wind noise, and improves voice quality. This in turn means clear hands-free conversations, even under noisy conditions. At the same time, STEPsound Intelligent Speaker Technology automatically enhances voice intelligibility and speech enunciation for the wearer, making your callers sound good to you.

From the press release:

STEP Labs technology uses the physics of sound propagation to define the shape and arrival time of sound waves to isolate voice signals from undesired noises. STEP Labs’ software uses these distinctions to tell the difference between the user’s voice and other voices, sounds, and noises, preserving the natural fidelity of the voice without distortion and producing near-perfect voice recognition performance, and impeccable noise cancellation.

Interested? SmartTalk Bluetooth headset is already available for $99.99. The “combo version” that will also include the PowerJolt car charger will start selling from February for $119.99.
