In an initiative to promote new artists from
around the world and create a community of enthusiasts, visitors to the
website can listen to a selection of songs every month from the
specialist music stores (including Fat Beats in NYC and Mona Records in
Japan), and can also buy the music they hear. Subscribers can receive
30 second samples tailored to their tastes.

Kid’s don’t buy music, they steal it. If you take the number of iPods sold versus the number of iTunes songs sold, you’ll soon realize that with about every iPod only one album will get sold. How are people filling up their music players then?!

If Nokia wanted to be smart and get a leap ahead on the mobile music phone market then they should start negotiation deals with last.fm
