TweetPhoto iPhone App denied entrance into the App Store because their logo looks like a Polaroid

The developers of TweetPhoto, an application for the Apple iPhone that hooks into the TweetPhoto service which allows you to share photos via Twitter, just received a rejection letter from Apple after 4 weeks of waiting to hear whether they’ve successfully penetrated the pearly gates of the App Store. The reason: The TweetPhoto logo looks similar to a Polaroid picture and that violates copyright:

“We’ve reviewed TweetPhoto and determined that we cannot post your application because it appears to include features that resemble Polaroid photographs. Polaroid has previously objected to other applications that include features that resemble Polaroid photographs, and believes that such features infringe its rights.”

In an effort to get Phil Schiller’s attention, they shot off an email to TechCrunch, who bravely keep on poking fun at Apple’s App Store policies in hope that one day they may change. Good luck guys, you’re going to need it!
