
When we say Viewty, we think of an all-touchscreen device with powerful camera and great multimedia capabilities. I thought that was LG’s idea with the brand. Not so, it seems, as they are selling the low-end messaging phone GW300 as Viewty GW300 in France (and who knows where else). Is the idea here to trick customers into believing the GW300 is as powerful as the original Viewty? That doesn’t sound like a winning strategy and it’s something I would expect Chinese cloners to do, not LG. Go figure…
