iNES NES/Famicom emulator ported to UIQ 3 PhonesSymbian UIQ3 based smartphone owners, here’s some good news for you. Now you will be able to enjoy all the NES games “back from the days” and revive the memories from your childhood. Earlier, we saw other platforms (S60, iPhone, etc) getting their share of the NES action and finally the wait is over. So far, iNES has been only tested on the Motorola Z8 and we’re still not sure whether it will work on Sony Ericsson smartphones. But even if it doesn’t work, I guess it’s safe to bet we’ll see the new version supporting UIQ’s touchscreen-based user interface in the near future.

Anyway, iNES emulates NES, Famicom, Dandy, Famicom DiskSystem, and various Nintendo and third party add-ons for iNES, and you can either trial it for free or grab the full version for only $14.99.
