ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime hits the FCC

ASUS’ super-sexy Eee Pad Transformer Prime is at the FCC where the government employed engineers are having good time with it before the rest of us can even touch it. Yeah I know, they only test the device’s radiation levels making sure it’s safe to be used by the general public, but then again – I’m pretty confident they’re tempted to try it out. After all, it’s by far the sexiest Android tablet we’ve seen to date.

Unfortunately, the FCC filing doesn’t tell us much we don’t know. There are Wi-Fi and Bluetooth radios under the hood, 10.1-inch screen, mini-HDMI port, NVidia’s quad-core processor, SD card slot, and a battery that will reportedly allow you to play with the tablet for up to 14.5 hours. No word on cellular radios so we can’t tell whether some of the U.S. carriers will pick it up. We hope some will eventually giving a big push to Android in the tablet space. We’ll see…
