The Samsung Galaxy Nexus just got a major price cut in the Google Play store. You can get your hands on one of the best Android devices on the market right now unlocked and contract-free for just $349. Best of all, for that low price, it comes preloaded with the latest version of Android announced today at Google I/O, Jelly Bean.

We reviewed the original Galaxy Nexus model back in December and gave it a nearly flawless rating. The device is going to be even better now that it’s running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, which includes a tremendous amount of refinements and speed enhancements across the entire operating system.

The unlocked Galaxy Nexus supports HSPA+ speeds, which is not LTE but it still qualifies as 4G. It’s a GSM device, so that means you’ll only be able to use it with either AT&T or T-Mobile in the United States, but it does support over 200 international GSM networks.

At $349, it’s a total steal especially for an unlocked phone that doesn’t require a carrier contract. You can take advantage of the deal right now in Google Play.
