Google is seriously invested in the augmented reality technology as we’ve seen from their Project Glass. Like that’s not enough, the search giant is also working on a related project dubbed “Smart Glove” and has recently been granted a patent. Think of it as something seen in the movie Minority Report with Tom Cruise browsing through videos on a big glass screen. Moreover, we could be talking about fancy holographic interfaces that don’t require any special surface to work.

Sounds awesome though we’ve seen something similar at one Ted Talk in which MIT Media Lab assistant researcher and PhD candidate, Pranav Mistry, is demoing a technology that we could best describe as “smart fingers” with camera and other sensors catching Mistry’s moves and acting accordingly. Pretty powerful stuff as you’re about to see from the video below. Here comes…
