Samsung i8910

Samsung Mobile Innovator, the Korean company’s mobile software development arm, has released the Alpha version of the Samsung i8910 DevPack to enable interested developers to start making apps for the soon-to-be-released OmniaHD smartphone.

At the moment the DevPack contains:

  • Emulator for testing and debugging applications. The Emulator includes Samsung i8910 bitmaps (skins), key mappings, and customisations required to reproduce the i8910 look and feel and device behaviour on the Emulator.
  • Example programs
  • Documentation

Future versions will naturally have more features, but for now, this should be enough to get you going. C’mon folks, show us some cool things the i8910 can do. 😉
