Mobango and Neomobile partner in Italy for Application Store

mobango-logoMobango and Neomobile have signed a partnership to market an Application Store in Italy in collaboration with mobile operators.

The Vip Power Application Store (branded VipMobile with the short code 48278), powered by Mobango technology, is a mobile service where users can download mobile applications and utilities such as communication platforms, antivirus, media viewers, themes and games. The applications published by Mobango’s community of developers, are available for smartphones and other smartphones with O/Ss such as Symbian, Java, Windows Mobile, Android, BlackBerry, Palm (and Flash lite!).

The Store boasts a rich catalogue of over 10,000 applications. The subscription model is on a weekly “all-you-can-eat” formula that includes a newsletter to inform users about the newest applications. Users can access the VIP Power Application Store through the m-site. The service will be strongly promoted on different media channels, including TV, Print, Web, Wap and SMS.

The Vip Power Application Store, now launched in Italy, will be soon be released in other countries.
