Samsung is preparing to unveil a new device. It’s a candybar-shaped Symbian S60-based smartphone that will be called C5100. From what we’ve heard, it’s a mid-range handset sporting such things as QVGA screen, HSDPA connectivity, WiFi, GPS, 3 megapixel camera with flash, Bluetooth, and we guess a microSD memory card slot. All this is neatly packed in a metallic case, which looks quite durable.
Exact release date is unknown and the same goes for pricing. We do, however, believe it will be more affordable than the Samsung i7710, similar Symbian S60 device, which retails for about 500 EUR. Stay tuned…
