Nokia recently started shipping four S60 3rd Edition devices: the Nokia N91, Nokia N80, Nokia N71, and Nokia E61. Taken together with two other devices that Nokia has already been shipping, the Nokia 3250 and Nokia E60, there are now a total of six S60 3rd Edition devices shipping to customers.

The three new Nseries devices offer the full Nokia Nseries feature set, including multi-megapixel cameras, Push e-mail support, and Internet browsing. The Nokia N91 offers mobile music with a 4-GB hard drive, a 3.5-mm stereo headset jack, easy computer synchronization with Microsoft Windows Media Player, dedicated music keys, and WLAN support. The Nokia N80 enables seamless home-media networking among compatible televisions, audio systems, and PCs via WLAN and Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) technology. The Nokia N71 offers a simple, reliable way to access new multimedia experiences; it features a high-definition 2.4-inch QVGA display and enhanced Web browsing capabilities via the new Nokia Web Browser with Mini Map.

The Nokia E61 is optimized to provide mobile e-mail performance, including the ability to view and edit attachments. It also delivers uncompromised voice functionality and the familiar Nokia user interface.

One other S60 3rd Edition device, the Nokia E70, was announced in late 2005 and is scheduled to begin shipping later this year.
