Poynt for BlackBerry

If you’ve never heard of or tried Poynt for BlackBerry before, you may want to give it a try now. A new version has just been released with new compatibilities and groovy new features. With Poynt you can find restaurants, find movie showtimes (even watch the trailers), find nearby business information, gas prices, and a heck of a lot more. It’s a handy tool to have in your app ‘tool chest’ for sure.

To coincide with the announcement of the BlackBerry Pearl 3G 9100/9105, Poynt has released a new and improved version of their application. Poynt for BlackBerry now packs 9100/9105 support, and will also work just fine-and-dandy with Verizon Navigator 5.0 too. European users will be pleased to know that Poynt now integrates nicely with Telemap, and a few GPS battery draining issues have been addressed. Finally, Poynt tells us that the Yellow and White Pages search feature should now work faster and better than ever.
