HTC Nike P5500 Touch IIThe HSDPA-packin’ HTC Nike (aka P5500) is said to be bringing all that Windows Mobile 6.0-powered 3.5G goodness to the US next month. DigiTimes is reporting that the first vertical-slider from HTC will be hitting the US airwaves in September.

The touchscreen-sporting HTC Nike is rumored to use the TouchFLO interface that was debuted to much fanfare on the HTC Touch – giving us reason to believe that the HTC P5500 Nike will be branded as the HTC Touch II. But, as speculation goes, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens.

As we mentioned earlier: “With a spec sheet that includes Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional (which lends itself nicely to packing the TouchFLO interface, what with the touchscreen and all), quad-band (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) GSM radio with HSDPA, 2 megapixel camera, and a 400Mhz processor, we’re dying to meet the HTC P5500 Nike in person – whatever it ends up being called.”
