Sirius XM Satellite Radio App Now on Android

The Sirius XM radio that has so far graciously blessed iPhone and BlackBerry is now available on Android.Tune in to 120+ stations over 3G or Wi-Fi, add favourites, and see what’s playing on other stations at any given moment. Content ranges from Oprah, to sports, comedy, and a whole whackload of different music genres. Go ahead and take a look at their library to see what tickles your fancy.

Sirius XM started off with car kits for satellite radio, but has since moved online, acquired celebrities, and is now pushing into mobile. There’s little competition on the radio front right now, but there’s more than enough mobile music available, much of it on-demand. From what I’ve heard, Sirius offers some pretty high-quality programs, and for those who want live coverage of sports, I could see this being a good option.

You can check out some of the subscription options here, which start at an extra $2.99/month for existing subscribers, or get premium online for $12.99/month.
