Rumored HP Slatebook 10 X2 Rocks NVIDIA Tegra 4 and Android 4.2.2

HP’s attempts at the tablet market have been sad at best, but it looks like the company may attempt to right the wrong it’s done to the tablet market by making a device people may actually want to spend money on. The new HP Slate 7 Android tablet hit store shelves today. It’s a pretty good looking rectangle that has some low-end specs but with an appropriate low-end price tag. LG to buy webOS from HP for its smart TVs

According to multiple reports, LG is poised to buy webOS from HP. Developed by Palm, webOS was well-regarded when it launched, but never gained traction against Android and iOS. The mobile operating system, along with the rest of Palm, was purchased by HP and promptly discarded when Leo Apotheker took over as CEO of HP. Despite its attempt to woo the world with the TouchPad and WebOS, not only does it look like HP is trying to create a tablet again, but said tablet may end up running Android.
