iCloud is getting some photo sharing upgrades at WWDC

Fake Instagram app for Android has malware

Here’s some more security news for Android users that has probably struck a nerve or two by now: another fake app has made its way into Google Play and yes, it has malware. This time the app is trying to imitate Instagram for Android. The app was discovered by web security provider Sophos. Hipstamatic and Instagram join forces for photo sharing partnership

Hipstamatic and Instagram unveiled a partnership today to make mobile photo-sharing easier under the two forces, according to an exclusive report from Fast Company. Apple ditches Google Maps for OpenStreetMap in iPhoto for iOS

If you downloaded iPhoto for iOS after Apple released it a couple of days ago, you may have realized something was slightly different about the maps used for things like viewing the location of a photo taken.
