Lets get to it, shall we? It looks like Sprint and Motorola are working on the successor of Photon 4G, which as far as we’re hearing will be called Photon Q 4G LTE. Yep it will run on Sprint’s soon-to-be-launched LTE network and aside from the new radio, it will also sport a 720p HD screen and perhaps a quad-core processor. The last thing is just a speculation on my end, though when you think about it with all other major handset makers set to announce a quad-core device (some of them already have such product … Read more
Google Drive has been one of the top conversations around the internet ever since we first got a glimpse of 5 GB free storage and a launch in April. Of course, at this point, such a prediction can only be classified as a rumor, because the search giant has yet to make things official. Now more signs are popping up suggesting that a Google Drive launch is imminent, as the company has started to increase the amount of free storage on its Google Docs service. Why is this significant you … Read more
File this under “rumors” cause this doesn’t come from the official channels. However, we do believe Sprint wants to hurry with its LTE network launch and to offer some solid devices to its users. Apparently, Now Network will launch its version of the HTC One X, EVO 4G LTE, on May 18th, with interested folks being able to grab the powerful smartphone both online and across Sprint’s retail stores. We did manage to get our hands on the device and we like it… a lot. If you’ve been living under … Read more
When Apple showed off the iPhone back in January 2007, they blew people’s minds with the all screen design and the slick user interface. A key element of that UI that often gets overlooked is the home button. It sits all alone, right under the screen, and no matter what a user is doing, all they have to do to get out of the application they’re in is to tap the home button. According to Mac Rumors, who cites Apple Bitch (we’re not making this up), the home button for … Read more
For as long as we can remember, there have been rumors circulating around the internets that Apple was going to build a low cost iPhone for cost sensitive consumers. Later we found out that Apple’s strategy to reach more users was to simply keep on selling the older models, but at a significant discount. Take the iPhone 3GS for example. When it launched in the summer of 2009 it cost $599 if you were buying it unlocked. Now it can be yours for around $380 straight from Apple’s website. But … Read more
We knew that the HTC One X would be landing on AT&T at some point in the near future, but it may be sooner than you think. According to BGR, the highly anticipated handset could land on store shelves as early as next week. When it does become officially available in the US, the One X will be the best phone in the market, by far. The international version’s sleek design will be retained in AT&T’s offering, unlike the WTF different design found on the upcoming Sprint EVO 4G LTE. … Read more
Thanks to the Google Shopping search, we know that US retailer J&R will soon launch the Asus Transformer Pad 300. It is said that the cheaper 16GB model will be priced at $379, with the keyboard dock selling for another $149, which is kinda steep. Then again, this is still preliminary (i.e. not official) and we’re sure some things could easily change in the days and weeks to come. If you recall, Asus unveiled the Transformer Pad 300 at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. It’s a plasticy tablet (when compared … Read more
I think we’re all a little to excited for the announcement of the upcoming Galaxy S III to the point that any decent-looking Samsung phone we haven’t seen before could be the highly anticipated handset. Well, we have one more for you guys today and all we can say is that we certainly hope this isn’t the real deal, as it looks to have a little less pizzazz than we’re hoping for. The anticipation of a handset like the Galaxy S III can ultimately lead to disappointment when said device … Read more
Rogers has already started accepting preorders for the HTC One X, though we still don’t know when the device will start shipping. Actually now we do have that information as well thanks to the leaked document pictured above. So if everything goes as planned, the first One X units will go out on April 20th. If you look at that image more closely, you’ll also see that it says the Nokia Lumia 900 will launch on April 9th and that was the date when Rogers started selling the Windows Phone … Read more
