Sony Ericsson has taken the multi-megapixel cameraphone wars to the next level with the Sony Ericsson C905 Cyber-Shot. The handset isn’t quite official at this point, but that hasn’t stopped pics and specs of the Sony Ericsson C905 from flooding the intertubes.
We’re seeing an impressive 8.1 megapixel image sensor sitting behind those legendary auto-focus Cyber-Shot optics. And, with HSPA (both HSDPA and HSUPA), WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, and VGA video capture (@ 30fps) rounding out the feature-set, the Sony Ericsson C905 is shaping up to be a serious smartphone, the likes of which Nokia’s N-series will have to counter if they want to stay on top of the cameraphone market.
From what we can see in the pics, the Sony Ericsson C905 isn’t suffering from too much added heft with the 8 megapixel camera stuffed in there. Check out the comparison pics of the SE C905 side-by-side with a Moto RAZR.
