Nokia Siemens Networks, a JV of Nokia and Siemens, today announced the appointment of Ashish Chowdhary as the head of India and Nepal subregion.
Earlier, Chowdhary was country head, India, Nokia Networks. He joined Nokia in December 2003 and was responsible for the Nokia Networks business and operational matters in India. He has also worked with Hughes Network Systems, USA and Hughes Escorts Communications Ltd, India.
He holds an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Delhi University, a Masters Degree in Computer Science from Emory University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
