Gold trim? Faux croc-skin? Of course!

Gold trim? Faux croc-skin? Of course!

The Motorola MING A1600 has enough flair on its own that it doesn’t need to get all gussied up to attract attention. Apparently, Motorola didn’t get the memo.

Rather than concentrating on turning around their handset business by funneling research and development funds into new and innovative products, Motorola has put their efforts into creating a Motorola MING A1600 Luxury Edition that comes bundled with a Cartier business card holder. Motorola must think that business users have a need for faux crocodile- and gold-trimmed, gaudy handsets that scream “look at me!”

Still, if over-the-top embelishments are your cup of tea, the Motorola MING A1600 Luxury Edition will run you a solid $867 in Taiwan. The Cartier business card holder alone might be worth the price-tag.
