Transmission company Antenna Hungaria has launched a DVB-H Mobile TV service.
There are 3 transmitters pumping out that lovely DVB-H – consisting of Free-to-Air channels “Duna TV” and “Duna II Autonomia” in Budapest. Handset-wise, it’s the popular N96 providing the viewing experience.
The service has been trialled since 2006, and comes only a couple of weeks after the company launched their DTT (Digital Terrestrial Television) platform.
Apparently plans are to go up to 20 channels, of which some would surely be Pay-TV channels.
