Staying on the Olympic tip, I noticed something in Cellular South’s Twitter feed this morning that some may want to take advantage of. Cellular South customers can receive Olympic Gold Medal alerts on their device by texting ‘MEDAL’ to 51515. Of course, the standard messaging rates apply here.
Not sure if I’d actually ever need a service like this (there are so many other options to get your news!), but still, if you’re on Cellular South, keep this one in your back pocket in case you ever have an Olympic medal count urge while you’re on-the-go.
