Hey, speaking of Bell, they’re launching the iPhone 4 on July 30 apparently. Bell had announced last month that they would be offering the iPhone 4 along with Canada’s other two major carriers, Rogers and Telus, but they’ve since quietly updated their site with confirmation of a July 30 release.
If you’ve been out of the loop, the iPhone 4 is Apple’s newest baby, having an incredibly sharp display, 5 megapixel camera with HD video recording and LED flash, fresh OS with multitasking, and a new video calling service. There were 17 other international releases scheduled for this month, and though I’m not going to go and check what that launch status is like for each one, I’d wager a lot of them are gunning for the last day of the month like Bell.
Sign up here for e-mail updates on Bell’s iPhone 4 availability, because it’s not like you’d hear about this sort of thing through standard channels like Twitter, Facebook, or, heaven forbid, a press release. We can only presume Telus (update sign-up here) and Rogers (here) will be launching around the same time frame.
Take a look at our hands-on video if you’re considering picking this up. Just be sure to grab a free case to get around the Death Grip.
