SPB TV WAP adds 3G feature phones to the mix

SPB Software has released the WAP version of its SPB TV product/service. The dedicated SPB TV application is already available on most of today’s smartphone platforms — including the iPhone, Android, Symbian, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile and WebOS — and now even the 3G feature phone owners can join the party.

There are over 150 subscription-free TV channels from more than 20 countries to choose from, meaning you’ll be constantly entertained while on the go. Like that’s the case with the native app version, SPT TV WAP also comes with an integrated TV Guide with the list of current and upcoming TV-shows, as well as the browser with fast channels launch and switching.

In addition to the client app offering, SPB Software also has a carrier solution, which thus far has been deployed by Singaporean StarHub and Russia’a SkyLink and MTS.

The SPB TV service has crossed the 1 million users mark and with the introduction of this latest version when more device owners can use it, I’m confident the number will grow even higher…

You can access SPB TV WAP by pointing your phone’s browser to tv.spb.com.
