MOG for the iPhone, which is a streaming music app, has just been updated and brings along a small host of new features. No word on updates or improvements on the Android version, but the iPhone app can be updated starting today. Of course, it probably goes without saying that the biggest improvement to the app is multitasking with iOS 4.
Now audio can stream in the background so you can listen to your favorite tunes while checking e-mail or surfing Safari (get it?).
Here are a list of features that comes with the new MOG update:
Enable MOG audio in the background: Audio now continues playing even if you press the home button and launch another app Audio remote control support: Audio remote controls work after MOG has started playing audio iOS4 “background task manager” play controls now control MOG: Users can double-tap the home button to bring up the list of multi-tasking apps and by simply sliding your finger from left to right, you will be presented with a screen of audio controls for MOG. Lock screen controls (double-tap home button when device is locked) now control MOG audio if MOG is playing. Headphones with remote controls now work with MOG: 1 click to toggle pause and play 2 clicks moves to next track 3 clicks moves to previous track (or restarts current track if > 5 seconds have played) Third party hi-fi docks will now control MOG
Check for the update in the iTunes app store and enjoy background streaming from your favorite mobile music app.
