Quicky: Motorola MB520 Kobe/Diablo caught in the wild

It was only 5 days ago when Kelly covered that still unannounced Motorola Android smartphone for AT&T. Now we have the first leaked image to share, compliments to Engadget and their tipsters. As you can see from the blurry photo above, the Motorola MB520 Kobe which is also known under the codename “Diablo” looks like Droid X’s younger brother. The presence of the MOTOBLUR UI further points to that direction, allowing for social networking right from the phone’s homescreen.

We’re hearing it initially run Android 2.1 but will get the 2.2 Froyo update soon after release. Speaking of “release,” the day is still a mystery, but as soon as we hear something new, we’ll definitely talk/write about it. Staying tuned can’t hurt. 😉
