We know few companies are working on the 3D mobile display technology and we’ve also seen the Samsung W960 sporting such a screen. Now we have another vendor joining the “3D race” – India’s Spice Mobile.
The model name is M-67 3D and it comes with a 2.4-inch auto-stereoscopic 3D QVGA (240×320 pixels) display. In addition, this baby also rocks two SIM card slots, 2-megapixel camera, FM radio, 3.5mm headset jack, media player, microSD memory card slot and a dedicated button to switch the display from 2D to 3D mode.
All this could be yours for Rs. 4,299 which is about $97. Not bad, not bad at all.
There are some problems, however. First the screen is too small, or at least I think so. Then there’s no 3G or WiFi radio on board. Finally, it’s not that easy to grab this phone if you live outside of India — and judging by our stats, you most likely live elsewhere.
However, if you do live or work in India and are interested to buy the M-67 3D, you should be able to find it in more than 50,000 retail outlets, including 750 Spice HotSpot stores…
