If you happen to want Sprint’s Motorola Photon 4G badly and can’t wait for the very end of July, nothing stops you from pre-ordering it. Up until this point, the Android-powered device was available from Walmart and Wirefly, and now RadioShack is joining the ride, too. Their price is also $179.99, which is $20 less than Sprint’s official price. However, there’s one caveat – shipping isn’t free, and you’ll have to pour out an additional 10 bucks ($9.99) to get FedEx to deliver the Photon 4G to your door.
As a reminder, Motorola’s baby is a world phone that sings along both CDMA and GSM-based networks, allowing you to keep using the same device even when travelling to other countries (simple insert a new SIM card and you’re ready to go). It comes with a big 4.3-inch qHD touchscreen, NVidia’s 1GHz dual-core processor, Wi-Fi connectivity, 8-megapixel camera, front-facing VGA camera, and 16GB of built-in storage that is further expandable with microSD cards.
You can check out RadioShack’s offer from this page at their website.
