Samsung GT-S8600 could be the Wave III?

Aside from making Android and Windows Phone devices, Samsung has its own mobile OS at well – bada. None of the bada smartphones managed to impress us thus far and it’s fair to argue that will remain the case as long as Samsung keeps rolling such awesome Android smartphones as the Galaxy S II…

Now we think the Wave III is in the pipeline, slated for the official launch in the near future… or at least the phone model number GT-S8600, which has been spotted at Samsung Russia’s website, suggests so (Wave II was S8500). We’ve no idea what’s it all about specs wise and can only hope the forthcoming Wave III will be on par with Galaxy S II, which at the moment tops Sammy’s smartphone line-up. However, specs alone are not enough — with not that many apps available for the bada platform I don’t see users picking Wave devices in volumes (instead of some Android smartphone). Then again, the Korean giant doesn’t target the very high end of the market with its bada smartphones but is rather going for the mid range phone buyers. We’ll see where this Wave III story leads…
