If you own Verizon’s DROID RAZR or DROID RAZR MAXX and have updated your smartphone to Ice Cream Sandwich, you may’ve noticed a new icon – “Video Calling.” As you can figure out for yourself, from there you can access video calling services supported by the Big Red carrier (though some other services will work just as well). The good news for all of you who like to video chat with multiple people at once is that ooVoo has found a way to chip itself into Verizon’s selection of apps which are available when you tap the mentioned icon.

Those of you living under a rock should know that ooVoo is a multi-party video chat app that allows up to 12 individuals to video-talk with each other for free. As an LTE subscriber, you’ll get great video quality, though the service will continue to work even in areas that are “stuck” to 3G connectivity (when you’re advised to move to a Wi-Fi Hotspot)… 😉
