Chewbaccas, Threepio’s and Pigs, oh my!
In an effort to maximize the Angry Birds brand, Rovio is teaming up with Lucas Arts to bring a Star Wars Angry Birds game to iOS, Android, and PC/Mac on November 8th. Star Wars Angry Birds makes a lot of sense after the company’s first foray into the universe with Angry Birds Space, which saw tremendous levels of success on Android and iOS, though as Star Wars geeks, we hope Rovio stays true to the Star Wars brand.
Of course, there’ll be all kinds of geeky Angry Birds Star Wars themed shirts, table games, and toys, which will go on sale about a week ahead of the game’s launch. You know, just in case you need to own Angry Birds Star Wars Jenga and figurines.
