Acer Liquid Z110 Duo now available in the UK but you don't want one

It was at the end of September when we told you about the Acer Liquid Z110 Duo, a dual-SIM Android smartphone, and now it’s available in the UK from Clove. However, we must warn you not to buy this thing even though it sells for just 110.40 GBP (and that’s the off-contract price). The reason is simple – the Liquid Z110 Duo is super underpowered device, boasting just 256MB of RAM and the same amount of built-in storage. Sure enough, you can beef-up the storage with a microSD cards but you’re stuck with the amount of RAM, which honestly is everything but enough. Rest of the specs includes a single-core 1GHz processor, 3.5-inch HVGA (320×480 pixels) touchscreen, 3-megapixel camera, 7.2Mbps HSDPA connectivity on one SIM, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and a 1,300mAh battery. In case you’re wondering, Android 2.3 Gingerbread (as opposed to 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich or 4.1 Jelly Bean) is running the show.

Again, don’t buy it even though there aren’t really a ton of dual-SIM Android options out there… Though you can check out Clove’s website and forward that page to one of your archenemies. 😉
