Expansys UK prepared a dedicated page for the newly announced HTC Butterfly from where you can express your interest (register) for the highly anticipated device. As you know, this is the international version of Verizon’s Droid DNA, boasting such high-end specs as Qualcomm’s quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU, 2GB of RAM, 5-inch full HD screen, and all other bells and whistles we find in modern smartphones.
The sad news is that Expansys doesn’t tell us when we’ll be able to grab HTC’s super-phone nor how much the device will cost once it becomes available. In other words, they’re pretty much building a list of prospects interested in the Butterfly and will email them details at a later date. HTC on its end didn’t share a single date either, leaving us to ponder when this monster will hit the streets. Do we want one? Yes! When do we want it? Now! And as far as I can tell, if they can make the Droid DNA available in the States, they should also bring the Butterfly to Europe, Latin America and other places. Can’t wait to play with one. 😉
