QWERTY keyboard-equipped NEC Terrain heading to AT&T

We don’t get to see Android smartphones with physical QWERTY keyboards that often. In fact, I can’t recall the last time such product was launched… That could change soon with the NEC Terrain, which could soon hit AT&T’s portfolio.

We don’t have any details except for the image above that was leaked by EVleaks. We tend to think the Terrain will be a low-to-mid end device with specs that most likely include a dual-core processor, 5-megapixel camera on the back and Android Jelly Bean. It’s fair to guess the success BlackBerry is currently experiencing with the Q10 has prompted AT&T to react and announce a comparable Android-powered device (if the two are comparable in the first place). In any case, we’ll glad that this form factor isn’t forgotten and yes – we’ll let you know as soon as new details emerge…
