After Oppo Find 5, the Chinese company is getting ready to launch its successor this September. The name of this phone is still unknown, but we’re hearing it will pack Qualcomm’s super-powerful Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor as well as an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Yup, the front camera sensors may be that powerful, supporting the growing trend among certain users in China (women?) that use their smartphone instead of a mirror.
As for the rest of the specs, we expect at least 2GB of RAM, 1080p full HD screen (screen size is still a mystery), fast 3G/4G connectivity options, 13-megapixel camera on the back, an array of sensors, ton of built-in storage, and so on and on. In other words, what Oppo is working on may easily be one of the best devices announced this year, though we expect other handset makers to follow with similar devices (think Sony, LG and others).
One thing is certain – the second half of this year will be more interesting than ever with both next generation of high-end smartphones and new platforms hitting the market. As usual, you can rely on IntoMobile to keep up with the latest mobile news…
