It is said that Samsung will launch its first Tizen-based device later this year. From what we’ve heard, it should be a beast-phone with specs that are comparable to the Galaxy S4. And today we have the first image(s) of the forthcoming Samsung GT-i8800 to show you, compliments of the Tizen Greek Community.

As you can see from the image above, Sammy’s Tizen-based smartphone will have the familiar all-touchscreen form factor that we all got used to love (or hate). The unit we’re seeing here runs Tizen 2.1 and as I’m writing this, we’re still not sure what it can do, and more importantly, why would anyone buy this phone instead of some Android-powered device. We don’t want to make our judgments before trying it out, though…
