Once again we have a chance to see the still unannounced Huawei Ascend W2. This time, the press render comes to us from EVleaks, which is well known to discover new devices before their makers get a chance to officially launch them.
EVleaks, however, doesn’t say anything about the W2’s guts, leaving us with specs sheet we’ve obtained before. And those specs include a 4.3-inch 720p HD screen, 1.5GHz processor (dual-core?), 1GB of RAM, 8-megapixel camera with LED flash on the back, and a 2,000 mAh battery.
While W2’s price is still a mystery, we doubt it will cost more than $300 sans any contracts signed. Perhaps it follows the footsteps of its lower-end sibling, Ascend W1, and be offered in its unlocked form through Walmart. Perhaps not. Only time will tell…
