Few days ago we saw the first press image of the upcoming Huawei Ascend W2. That image depicted the phone in blue and now we have red and yellow variants showing up, compliments to EVleaks.
We still don’t know when the Chinese company will officially announce its second Windows Phone 8 device, but are hoping that will happen sooner rather than later. After all, the Ascend W2 has been leaked for so many times and we’re honestly not sure what Huawei’s thinking. At this point, postponing the launch couldn’t bring any benefits, quite the contrary.
Anyway, the W2 is rumored to sport a 4.3-inch HD screen, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8-megapixel camera with LED flash on the back, 3G + Wi-Fi connectivity (we’re not sure about LTE, though), and a 2,000mAh battery. Last time we’ve heard, it will sell for some $300, most likely few bucks below that figure…
