A&E, History Channel, Lifetime Release Streaming Apps on Google Play – No Cable Required

Three major cable channels are now streaming directly to Android devices. A&E, The History Channel, and The Lifetime Network have all released streaming apps in the Google Play Store. These apps allow streaming of full episodes and movies without any cable subscription required

Streaming is on the rise, as is “cord cutting” (dropping the cable subscription). This latest crop of streaming apps is another nail in the subscription cable model’s coffin.
