A Twitter user going by Hal on Earth has uncovered a very curious variation between competing search engines, Google and Bing. The auto fill results when typing in “the xbox one is” are quite different, with Microsoft’s Bing suggesting “the xbox one is amazing,” and Google completing the sentence in a less than positive way.
Microsoft recently caved to the internet backlash against its DRM policies, making major changes to appease its audience. Hopefully Google’s results will reflect this and trend towards the positive. Until then, Microsoft can always rely on Bing!
