HTC has started rolling out Android 4.2.2 update for the HTC One X+ in Taiwan. The new software, version 2.17.709.2, comes with a number of enhancements, including HTC Sense 5 all with the HTC BlinkFeed.
Moreover there are power improvements in the form of new sleep mode watch, and battery meter in the status bar; as well as notifications panel improvements that allow users to access the Settings panel using two-finger gestures.
Plus, there’s the ability to long tap the screen shot on the screen to start the exposure / focus lock function, and video Highlights living micro film with 12 kinds of styles of music theme, automatically edited into a “stunning 30 seconds video.”
Finally, users get to view the lyrics and music visualization screen for songs found in the database.
Unfortunately, we still don’t know when this update will hit the West and can only hope that will happen sooner rather than later.
