Verizon has announced a new 7-inch tablet, called the Ellipsis 7. the device bares Verizon branding, and is being touted as an affordable tablet with mid-range specs. While not the most powerful tablet on the market by any means, it is an affordable option for Verizon customers looking to enter the Android tablet game.
The Ellipsis tablet touts a 7-inch 1,280 x 800 IPS screen 1.2GHz quad-core processor, a 3.2MP rear-facing camera and a front facing VGA camera, and runs on Android 4.2. The Ellipsis includes Verizon Messages which allows users to send and receive messages from the device. The tablet also includes LTE connectivity, and can be purchased on November 7th for $249.99, or $149.99 with a new two-year contract.
