The upcoming Android 4.4.2 update for the LG G2 is about to hit the U.K., and LG has made a video which showcases the speed improvements that are present in the update. The video stars the LG G2, with a model running on Jelly Bean and one running KitKat in a side by side comparison. The results are not surprising, with KitKat besting Jelly Bean in all of the tests, especially when it comes to playing videos and opening up the camera app. LG notes a 17% improvement when opening apps with the update, as well as improved battery life and performance.
We’re still not sure exactly when Android 4.4.2 will be landing on the U.S. version of the LG G2, as the update is rolling out internationally before it comes to the U.S. We’ll keep you updated.
