ZTE is preparing to add an interesting device to its offering soon. The upcoming Grand S EXT will be the firm’s first smartphone to be made with the Nano Molding Technology (NMT), which means its body is composed of plastic and metal that were injection molded together. As you can see for yourself, this in turn allows the Chinese firm to make one sexy lookin’ product. Unfortunately, at this stage we’re not sure what kind of hardware the S EXT will pack under the hood, and we can only hope it will be a high-end device.
We must comment on this phone’s name, though. S-EXT doesn’t sound right; Grand SEXT is even worse. When the “regular” sext doesn’t make it – go for the Grand SEXT! 🙂
It’s also worth adding that this isn’t the first time a Chinese firm unveils a phone with a funny name. I can vividly remember Huawei’s announcement of its first quad-core phone – Ascend D Quad. You shouldn’t have hard time imagining the audience reaction every time the CEO said “D Quad.” It was hilarious. Both ZTE and Huawei should hire a naming expert. Meanwhile, we can’t wait to see the ZTE Grand S EXT officially announced…
