Mozilla is having hard time convincing many users to try out their Firefox OS. That, however, doesn’t stop the company from further working on the project as they go for the next billion of smartphone users.
What we have here are screenshots of the upcoming Firefox OS 2.0 which could be out by the end of the year. Or not, we can’t really tell.
The UI looks rather sexy, boasting the ever-popular flat icons and interface. Every single part of the UI seems revamped from the ground up and we like how the end-result looks like. Now if these efforts could also turn into developers’ action and they launch some cool apps for the platform, that would be something. Or if hardware partners offer better phones…
It’s tough to launch a brand new platform these days when even companies as big as Samsung and Intel can’t get enough attention for their Tizen OS. We’ll be watching this space and get back to you as soon as we have something new to add. Stay tuned…
