YouTube has updated its Android app today, giving users the option of picking which resolution they would like their video played in. This will help users who don’t want to eat up all of their data while watching videos on the go.
The Android YouTube app has always allowed the option of turning off HD to playback videos, and today’s update gives users many more options. Users can now choose to play their YouTube videos at 133p, 240p, 360p or 720p. The app includes a mode which will pick the best quality for video playback automatically, for those who don’t want to fumble around with an extra set of options.
If you haven’t received the update yet, head to the Google Play Store to grab it.
