Both tablets will run One UI 9.0 and come in silver and gray. That’s not surprising. What is interesting is how Samsung has divided these two models — not just by size, but by camera hardware, speaker count, and battery capacity. The differences actually matter here.
What the Tab S12 Plus brings to the table
The Galaxy Tab S12 Plus comes in at 555 grams, which is solidly mid-range for a 12.6-inch tablet. The display is AMOLED with a 2800 x 1752 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. That’s a sharp, smooth screen. It has two speakers, which is fine but nothing to get excited about. Camera details for the Plus are light in this leak, so we’ll have to wait for official confirmation there.
The Ultra goes bigger on almost everything

There’s one detail Samsung hasn’t nailed down yet, at least publicly. The front camera design is still up in the air. Earlier renders from August showed a notch design, similar to what we saw on the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. But a One UI 9 beta discovery suggested Samsung might switch to a punch-hole camera instead. That’s a meaningful design choice, and it’s odd that we don’t have a clear answer this close to launch.
Pricing and what to expect at launch
European pricing puts the Galaxy Tab S12 Plus at €1,299 and the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra at €1,539. So you’re looking at a €240 gap between the two. Pricing for other markets hasn’t been mentioned in the leak. Samsung hasn’t officially confirmed any of this yet, so treat these numbers as a strong signal rather than a guarantee.
