Namco Networks is bringing another classic title to mobile phones – Ridge Racer Drift. The game has been released for a number of platforms, including Java, BREW, RIM and Windows Mobile, with (I guess) others to follow.
The mobile version of the once popular racer features six new tracks, nine racing machines, and you can play in either Grand Prix or Single Race mode. The former sees you competing in five tours and when you win – additional tracks are unlocked. On the other hand, Single Race is used for practicing your driving skills on any track with the vehicle of your choice.
As expected in this e-social age, your accomplishments can shared with the world by posting them on Facebook.
Finally, if you’re not aware what Ridge Racer Drift is all about, there’s a dedicated Wikipedia page telling the whole story (so I don’t have to). To download it, simple search for “ridge racer” in a mobile app store of choice…
