Hockey Fans, this evening I have some news for you direct from the NHL. Not so long ago I learned that NHL GameCenter Live is now available at a new, lower price. Also (and this is the biggie for me), you can now stream live games to the iPad! Nice!
So what’s the pricetag? Well, there’s actually a few price points to check out here. NHL GameCenter Live will run you $119 per year. This is the top-of-the-line product that allows you to watch live games, listen to live radio, view in-game highlights, player profiles and much more… all from your computer, or select mobile devices (now including the iPad). If you need the live action, this is the ultimate answer.
If live action isn’t a must-have for you, GameCenter Premium will do you just fine. It’s available for Android, BlackBerry, iPhone and Nokia devices for only $9.99 for the remainder of the 2010-2011 season. Got that? Good.
Now, if GameCenter Premium isn’t cutting it for you, and you need live hockey action to fulfill your needs… Verizon customers can now cash-in on an additional discount. NHL GameCenter Live is available to Verizon customers for only $39.99 (provided you have a compatible handset). Not bad, not bad at all.
Bottom line? No matter the mobile device you call your daily driver, if you’re a hockey fan… NHL GameCenter Premium and GameCenter Live are worth your attention. Sure, in the end these apps and services are a bit on the expensive side, but when you consider the access too live games, the ease of use, and just the plain happiness that you’ll glean from it… Hey, it may be worth the spend. Hardcore hockey fans only though, please 🙂
For more information be sure to search the App Store of your choice for NHL GameCenter Premium. Download the app and remember, if you’re a Verizon customer, look out for that upgrade to NHL GameCenter Live. It’s contains enough hockey action to make Bobby Hull blush.
